WAYNE SAY'S
It is my intent to produce art that represents more of what I feel then what I see. In this manner, I don’t mind exaggerating certain elements of the art subject. I feel more at liberty to reveal the strength, beauty, or other highlights in the artwork because of this allowance.
While I am surrounded by inspiration throughout the NWT and other Canadian landscapes, I am, as well, often inspired by my thoughts and internal visions. These thoughts and visions are often a result of my interactions with other people, environments, and how I feel about my interaction at the time.
A work of art will often will often tell three stories ; There is the story of the artist and the artists story. The third story occurs when another person connects with your artwork.
Thank You for enjoying my artwork !!

Wayne’s Favorite Quotes :
“ I like the idea of a spiritual connection to my artwork or to any artwork that I collect”
“ As of yet, I refuse to become prisoner of a single medium or style of artwork, or, for that matter, of a single mind, however, there are two schools of thought on this subject : ‘ In order to master anything, you usually need to pigeon-hole your efforts in order to perfect ‘ but if you pigeon-hole too much in your efforts to try and perfect your media, you miss out on all the beautiful ‘fly-by’s’ " ....Those loose moments that allow for maximum creativity.
The three stories…..“ It’s the third story that brings ‘it’ home ! That’s the one that counts. It’s the connection!”
Thank You and Enjoy Your Day !!
